They only give up without force, at the end of arguments. The author has fun digging the furrow of obsession - this worried rumination that makes us climb the most mundane incident. Under the guise of ordinary conversation, Nathalie Sarraute exposes with diabolical humor and precision our irrational anxieties, our dark fears before the other, this enemy. With great complicity, the two actors engage in this fight where every word is there to make a strike. It is a question of solving the friendship frankly, to grasp with accuracy the moment of the break to better consume it.
